Inspired by a tale of the legendary EA Poe, "Ligeia," is dedicated to my sister who is getting married in a few months. E 'made a special mix of polymer clay to achieve greater consistency and endurance as well as a fair complexion pale.
Modeled on an armature iron in reference to a skeleton of about 20 cm, is painted with the colors and dusted with Pearl Ex Genesis
The eyes are made separately and then inserted, the lashes are synthetic, applied one at a time.
The hair is tibetan lamb, which are applied strand by strand, each of which has previously been curled to form of curls, hairstyle (which includes a bun and braids) is decorated with pearl beads, flowers and gold fragments.
The dress is made of crepe de chine and tulle embroidered with lace applications, the veil (removable) is the application of organza and lace flowers and pearls.
The rose and the petals are made of corn paste and painted with acrylic colors. The plaque
(removable) is carved in corn paste, the inscription was incised and then highlighted with black acrylic.
The base is carved into corn dough on a structure of cardboard, is painted with acrylics and decorated with moss, dried grass and twigs, while the tree (which is also removable from the base) is made of papier mache over a wire frame and is painted with acrylic paints.
entire sculpture measures approximately 25x22x25 cm (9.8x8.6x9.8 inches).
